Chapter 205

Chapter 203 – Hell – 6

“So, this is the magic circle those trashy things use.”

As Kaiquilia slowly observed the magic circle engraved with the Anti-Demon Symbol, she spat out her words casually.

“You are absolutely correct.”

“Is it okay for us to use it?”

“Yes, there shouldn’t be any problems.”

“Then, let’s proceed.”

Despite having no supporting evidence for my statement, Kaiquilia accepted it without hesitation. It seemed like she had no intention of verifying what I said.

Margarita squatted down to examine the magic circle, carefully checking Kaiquilia’s expressions before cautiously speaking up. Kaiquilia didn’t seem to react much.

“I’ve never seen this in action before. Bringing us here means you know how to use it, right?”

“That seems to be the case.”

With a look of surprise on her face, Margarita shook her head in disbelief.

“What kind of person are you? Knowing all this stuff. You can’t be a normal person… no, you definitely aren’t. How can an ordinary person know the magic circle drawn in Hell?”

I chuckled lightly and dodged the question. Margarita seemingly wasn’t expecting an answer either, as she returned to inspecting the magic circle while squatting down again.

The Anti-Demon Symbol magic circle drawn all around the field was a unique concept exclusive to the Demon’s Sanctuary DLC in Brightest Darkness 4.

Although there were only two statues across the entire field, the magic circle allowed teleportation anywhere in the area.

Of course, the vicinity of the boss room was blocked by an unknown force. So, the other statue was also located right in front of the boss room.

“This way.”

I led the two to the edge of the cliff. On the opposite side was a sheer cliff, with a massive gorge stretching below us.

I pointed to a faint something visible on the opposite cliff with my finger.

“We need to go inside there and activate the altar. Then, we should be able to use the magic circle.”

Margarita seemed aghast at the height of the sheer cliff and recoiled back. Kaiquilia frowned as she looked down into the gorge, then lifted her head.

“From this distance, it seems likely that we could jump across. Would that work?”

“…There’s a special method, so you don’t need to do that, Your Highness.”

With the notion that jumping across a gorge that looked to be about 30-40m wide was possible, I stood on a protruding part of the cliff slightly to the right.

And without hesitation, I stepped into thin air.

Gasp!

Margarita, shocked, was about to stop me, but before she could say anything, my right foot firmly landed on the invisible space. I heard someone swallow hard behind me.

I stepped forward with my other foot, appearing to walk in mid-air.

“Did you see that?”

“Uh, uh?”

Margarita’s eyes widened in disbelief at the sight of me floating in the air.

“As you can see, it’s a transparent platform. We just walk like this.”

“……Got it.”

Kaiquilia nodded slightly, stepping into the air beside me. The leather boots pressed down on the empty space as she walked forward.

“Delta, can you leave a mark on this platform?”

“It would be quicker for you to see it for yourself.”

I returned to the cliff, grabbed a handful of sand, and sprinkled it onto the invisible platform. The sand turned completely transparent and disappeared as soon as it made contact.

“It’s been treated with special magic. I understand now.”

“……I’ll stay here. Just go.”

Margarita squatted down, claiming she definitely couldn’t cross. Although she had the appearance of a bold Latin beauty, seeing her act like this was surprisingly jarring.

Well, if I had to point out the person with the largest disparity between appearance and personality, it would definitely be Lize. With a haughty cat-like face, she had a personality that was anything but that.

“Understood. Anyway, there won’t be any demons around since Your Highness has taken care of them, so please wait here.”

As I turned to leave, I noticed Margarita had a hesitant look and cautiously added,

“…You know, I can be patient if it takes a while, but don’t take too long, okay?”

“……?”

I left Margarita, who was saying something strange, behind and walked onto the transparent platform with Kaiquilia.

Once we had crossed halfway over the cliff, I halted Kaiquilia as I began to see an odd shimmering. She looked where I was pointing.

“Is that what you were talking about?”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

The door beyond the cliff was aligned straight with the magic circle, and it was evident from the angle that the transparent platform began on the right side of the magic circle that it was quite off.

This angle created a trap in the section that turned left once.

If someone had sharp eyes, they might think of it as a trap seeing the shimmering ahead, but first-time users crossing here would typically not think of those matters and end up falling to their death.

I had done the same.

“What a truly grotesque structure. It’s the kind of idea those disgusting creatures would come up with.”

“I think the same.”

Before long, we arrived at the door, which appeared faintly on the magic circle. We swung the door open. Thud! The sound echoed as the dust clung to the door flew in all directions.

We entered. The moment Kaiquilia stepped inside, she furrowed her brow at the sight of the demon statues lined up on both sides and drew her Holy Sword.

Knowing what was to come, I ignored it and walked toward the altar. I could hear something behind me shattering loudly.

While Kaiquilia was smashing the statues, I stood before the altar, stepping on the platform. The sides of the altar were hollowed, and blood began to flow from the hollows, filling the altar.

Soon, the entire altar was filled with blood. The hollows returned to their original shape. In no time, Kaiquilia, who had smashed all the statues, approached me.

“Has it worked?”

“Yes. Now we just need to return to the magic circle.”

“Everything about this is disgustingly sickening. No wonder it’s right to annihilate them.”

Kaiquilia, still uncomfortable even after smashing all the statues, had a tone filled with irritation.

A thought crossed my mind that I wondered if it was right to use a demon’s magic circle like this, but I quickly dismissed it. Given Kaiquilia’s character, she would have voiced her objections if she didn’t want to use the magic circle.

Just as I was about to step outside after activating the altar, Kaiquilia’s voice halted me.

“Where do you think you’re going without my permission? Stop right this instant.”

“……Is something wrong, Your Highness?”

I turned around. Kaiquilia had approached me with long strides. Since it was almost impossible to gauge her thoughts from just her expression, I felt a bit tense as I awaited her next words.

Kaiquilia came right up to me, as if to embrace me.

smack.

Then, she kissed me.

Wait, what just happened…?

The soft sensation of her lips making contact and the warmth from her body startled me more than it excited me.

As I stood there dumbfounded, unable to follow the situation, Kaiquilia pressed her body even closer. I could feel the lingerie barely concealing her chest pressing against my own.

Ugh…

Soft moans began to emerge. Of course, they were Kaiquilia’s. Gripping my wrist tightly to prevent my escape, Kaiquilia thrust her tongue into my mouth.

Slurp… Mmm…

With a slightly sticky sound, Kaiquilia’s body trembled. Just like last time, merely kissing her was sending her into a mild ecstasy, twisting her thighs together.

I had no idea what she wanted, but it seemed better to send her on her way quickly and ask later. It didn’t seem like she would allow me to pull away my lips now.

With my other hand, I grabbed Kaiquilia’s rear. Feeling her entire body shudder, I squeezed her buttocks as if I were rubbing my chest while slipping my other arm inside my suit coat.

Since it felt like I was responding rather than trying to escape, Kaiquilia willingly released my wrist.

I slipped my arm into the inside of my coat and ran my fingers along the indented line of her spine. The shirt was so thin that it was practically transparent, allowing me to easily find the indent with just the sensation of my fingers.

While pushing down gently on the indent near her tailbone with my fingers, I caressed the tongue that had entered my mouth. I traced the line of her spine while squeezing her rear end firmly.

Aah!!!!!!

Kaiquilia immediately trembled and reached her peak. She could barely catch her breath, only letting out moans through her sealed lips as her body shuddered.

Even so, she was still attached to me. It felt insufficient. I brought my fingers, which had been following her spine, near her armpit.

As I tickled her armpit with my fingers, Kaiquilia wriggled her body around. I continued to stroke her waistline, trailing down to her sides.

I fondled her hips, precariously positioned under her formal trousers, a few times before continuing lower. When my fingers traveled down her abdomen, her body twitched.

Finally, I reached between her thighs.

Hmm, ugh! Ugh!

Kaiquilia let out a noise akin to a whimper rather than a moan. Her body twisted more violently than ever before.

As the convulsions ended, our lips detached. Kaiquilia stumbled back, leaning against me. I wrapped my hands around her waist to support her weakly trembling body.

A silence enveloped us. The only sound was Kaiquilia’s heavy breaths as she buried her face in my chest, panting. Taking advantage of this moment, I posed a question.

“Why did you suddenly do this…?”

After a while of heavy breathing, Kaiquilia slowly lifted her head. Her face still bore that serious expression from earlier, but her panting persisted.

“…It’s… a punishment.”

“A punishment, you say?”

I asked back, my voice filled with disbelief. Kaiquilia slowly nodded her head.

She seems to be struggling more than me…

Compared to me, who was still standing firm, Kaiquilia could hardly stand, her legs giving way beneath her. At this point, I couldn’t tell who was punishing whom.

Moreover, I was starting to question whether this was indeed a punishment. Surely, the common sense of mods didn’t change so far as to include this kind of thing. It felt more like she was indulging in her personal desires.

That was equally absurd…

Why was she trying to fulfill such desires so soon? Kaiquilia was sensitive, but she was far from the type to suddenly awaken to pleasure.

“For now, I understand. Let’s head back.”

“Do as you please. However, the punishment isn’t over yet, so don’t let your guard down.”

Guard down?

I chuckled inwardly and led the trembling Kaiquilia across the transparent platform. By the time we had crossed about halfway over, she could walk on her own again.

Margarita tilted her head, asking why we had returned so soon. Now, I understood what that statement meant. It appeared she had misinterpreted our relationship.

In truth, I had no words in response to such a misunderstanding.

“So, how does it work? You don’t have to tell us, right?”

Huh?

Standing on the magic circle, that question made me freeze momentarily. Now that I thought about it, that was the case. No UI was appearing here. In the game, the map UI would pop up by pressing the E key while standing on the magic circle.

‘…….’

A silence descended. Kaiquilia and Margarita looked at me with curious expressions, wondering what I was doing.

How do we move inside the castle—

And just as I thought that, the Anti-Demon Symbol magic circle glowed red and enveloped the three of us. I reflexively closed my eyes, and upon feeling nothing happen, I slowly opened them.

I glanced around. We were atop a familiar set of castle walls, and the demons nearby were staring at us with wide eyes.

……This works?

While I was internally astonished, Margarita shrieked, yelping as she clung tightly to us. The demons, hearing her scream, started screeching wildly in excitement.

Crackle!

“You disgusting creatures, can’t you keep your mouths shut?”

Of course, it was completely futile. By now, with the Holy Sword in hand, Kaiquilia had already swung it, slicing apart nearly ten demons. Streams of blood gushed down like a waterfall.

The castle fell silent in an instant.
