Chapter 313

Extra Chapter: Another World – 2

When comparing the world of Eclipse to mine, surprisingly, the interior landscapes of buildings didn’t show much difference. The Goddess brought all sorts of items to her world after all.

Like electronic appliances such as air conditioners and refrigerators, or the modern clothing style with a lot of exposure from my world.

If you were just looking at the interior of the buildings, and excluding the fact that all the buildings were made of wood or stone, Eclipse could be seen as simply a façade of medieval fantasy.

So I thought there wouldn’t be much to surprise everyone in the house.

“What is this? Could it be a sword?”

“The edge is incredibly dull. It might just scratch the skin a bit.”

“To use such a shabby object as a self-defense dagger, that’s not a Delta-like choice.”

“There’s no crossguard either. If you’re not careful, the hand wielding it might get hurt.”

The Knight Commanders were seriously evaluating a kitchen knife stuck in one of the walls, mistaking it for a combat dagger.

“This is the first time I’ve seen something with this internal structure. Is it some kind of electronic circuit aggregate?”

“W-Wait, Minerva! I don’t think you should just dismantle it like that. Aagh! Aunt, what are you doing?!”

“I only touched it a bit. This object is absurdly weak.”

Minerva magically disassembled the computer case and was observing the graphics card floating in the air, while Kaiquilia had made a palm-sized hole in the monitor, and Aurora was flustered next to them.

“It’s fascinating, Seraphica-unnie. I don’t feel Divine Power in this world.”

“That’s right, Evangelina. Although the sun is clearly in the Sky…”

“But we can still use Divine Power. Look—uh-oh?”

Stella, the floor—uh, wait?”

Even while the Pope and others were amazed that they couldn’t feel Divine Power despite the sun being in the sky, Stella summoned golden Divine Power, accidentally scorching the floor a bit, while Selene frantically moved, only to tear the wallpaper with her elbow armor.

Hehehe… Delta’s bed…

Finally, there was Nix, who had jumped onto the bed as soon as she entered, rolling the blanket and burying her face in the pillow. Leaving aside Nix who was happily rolling alone, everyone else was in complete chaos.

“Gah! It broke!”

“Hey! Delta! Iris broke your dagger!”

“I-I only gave it a light flick with my finger!”

“Just by looking at it, it seems weak! What were you thinking slashing with it?!”

“The shape returned to normal, but… is it really working again? It won’t turn on even when I press the power button?”

“I put it back together in the same order it was dismantled. Don’t worry, child.”

“What in the world is this wide thing? It sinks in when I press it, it’s such a strange object.”

Stella, the floor is all scorched.”

Selene, the wallpaper was torn, right?”

“W-Wait, the Divine Protection wasn’t activated…? Uh, what do we do? I thought it would definitely be in place since this is the Holy One’s residence….”

“I-I’m so sorry. I was too shocked that the Holy One’s house got scorched, I couldn’t control my distance.”

“Smells like Delta… Hehehe…”

“……”

Accidents were reported from all over. Nix fidgeting while smelling the bed even made her look like the normal one.

In the kitchen with the Knight Commanders, the living room with the Holy Kingdom side members, and my room where the other four were. While everyone had done something one way or another, their attitudes towards it were different.

Floretta, Luna, Stella, and Selene were restless, worrying about dirtying the Holy One’s residence and trying to tidy up. At least they were trying to manage the situation.

Lize, Erica, Iris, and Claudia were making a big fuss over the fact that they perceived the kitchen knife as my personal weapon. It wouldn’t be a big deal if they went over and just told them it was nothing.

Not to mention Nix, who was lying peacefully on the bed.

The problem lay with the last three. No, it was two—two who had no awareness that they caused an accident.

The computer case, which had been fully dismantled by Minerva, had regained its original form, but Aurora could tell something had been ruined since it showed no response when she pressed the power button.

The monitor that Kaiquilia had fiddled with now had finger and palm-sized holes. It wasn’t broken in a typical sense, which was a remarkable achievement in another way.

Only Aurora was struggling to stop those two while keeping an eye on me.

‘It’s understandable to be curious about something that wasn’t in the Eclipse world…’

The Goddess said it would mess up the atmosphere, so she deliberately didn’t bring it, but then what on earth was the air conditioner that was functioning properly in a medieval fantasy world?

For now, I decided to leave Nix, who was happily entertaining herself, alone, and since the Pope seemed to be diligently trying to handle the situation, I would prioritize resolving the confusion among the Knight Commanders who looked flustered thinking they made a major mistake.

As I approached, the three looked startled and turned to Iris. She timidly stepped forward, holding the halved kitchen knife out to me.

“I’m sorry, Delta. I broke your dagger. If you tell me the amount, I’ll make sure to compensate you later.”

“But it wasn’t intentional! It was too weak to begin with!”

“From the look of it, it doesn’t scream ‘strong,’ does it? What were you thinking hitting it?!”

“While the appearance has returned to normal… but is it really working? It won’t turn on even when I press the power button?”

“Objectively, it’s not a point I should argue from since I broke your item, but honestly, I never imagined it would break just from a few flicks of my finger.”

“Now that it’s broken, how about using this opportunity to swap it for a better dagger? I’ll buy it for you.”

Next to Iris, who was apologizing deeply, the other Knight Commanders were vigorously defending her. I smiled and took the kitchen knife from her hand.

I don’t know how she interpreted my smile, but Iris shuddered slightly.

“It’s okay. It’s not a dagger after all.”

I aligned the broken blade and handle. The broken parts fused, and in the blink of an eye, it returned to its original form. The eyes of the four widened in amazement.

They thought there was going to be a lot of breaking stuff because of the restoration power granted by Eclipse.

“It’s just a kitchen knife.”

“…… A kitchen knife?”

The concept of a knife used for cooking clearly existed in Eclipse world as well, so Iris looked confused. The other Knight Commanders, who were desperately making excuses, looked the same way.

“A kitchen knife? No, how can a kitchen knife be that weak?”

“I suspect that instead of cutting through ingredients, the knife handle would break first.”

“If it’s just used for cooking, it’s not that hard to accept, but…”

The four of them exchanged puzzled glances between me and the kitchen knife. Kitchen knives used in the Eclipse world were far more durable than those in my world.

Basic properties had been enhanced thanks to processing through mana, and even the physical abilities of the humans using them were superior within the Eclipse world.

“Until you get used to it, you’ll probably end up breaking a lot, right? Just remember to come to me whenever you do.”

“… Are you forgiving us for this, Delta?”

“Forgive or not, I wasn’t even angry in the first place. It’s my first time in your world. I might break stuff out of curiosity. As long as you guys didn’t get hurt, that’s what matters.”

It’s not like they could ever get hurt from my world’s kitchen knife anyway.

“Th-Thank goodness. Thank you, Delta.”

Iris sighed in relief, and when our eyes met, she flinched and looked away. Since that day when we mixed bodies after getting drunk, she had been acting like this.

Erica was slightly better than Iris but was still sneaking glances at her sister. Although I had already told Lize everything. Lize was bouncing excitedly, saying it was great.

Iris will overcome it over time, and if I push Erica, she’ll just give in, so it should be fine, right?’

The only one whose true feelings were a mystery was Claudia. She seemed to have picked up on something, but she didn’t show any more reaction than that.

I turned my attention back to the Knight Commanders who were starting to rummage through the kitchen, heading towards the Pope sisters, Stella, and Selene who were whispering in a corner of the living room.

“Oh, you’ve arrived, Delta.”

“Do you have something you wish to say?”

The Pope awkwardly greeted me, blocking the charred and torn spot with their bodies. Stella and Selene were next to them, looking around nervously.

I hugged Floretta and Luna with one arm and pushed gently. Their attempts to clean up seemed to have all failed, as their surroundings were filled with skidded marks on the scarred floor and the wrecked wallpaper caught my attention.

Stella and Selene immediately prostrated on the floor.

“I’m so sorry, Holy One! We did this, punish us!”

“Y-Yes! If we are at fault, please punish us. The Pope is blameless.”

“It’s fine. It’s really nothing. Just fix it.”

Activating the Power of Restoration, the torn wallpaper and scorched floor returned to their original state. Stella and Selene looked dumbfounded as they raised their heads.

“The Goddess said that when you come to my world, you wouldn’t be able to control your power for a while and would break things. The Goddess foresaw all this, so there’s no need to blame yourselves.”

Saying you’d break things and then handing over the Power of Restoration ensured she had 100% predicted today’s events.

She probably looked into the future. The only future that Eclipse can’t see is related to the creature that devours the world.

“Knowing the sun foresaw even this…”

“I-It feels kind of embarrassing…”

Floretta and Luna flushed red. Stella forced a smile, while Selene avoided eye contact.

Even if the building itself crumbled, I could fix it, so I encouraged them to explore their curiosity as much as they wanted. Then I turned to the last three.

Those who had managed to satisfy their curiosity without my prompting and the one who was clueless about her wrongdoing.

“Did you come, Delta?”

“Welcome, child.”

“I-I didn’t do anything to get scolded?”

Kaiquilia and Minerva were incredibly proud. It was quite the contrast to Aurora, who was wringing her hands nervously. I smiled and gently stroked Aurora’s head.

I checked that the power strip was turned on and pressed the power button. The computer remained silent. I turned to the monitor next to it. Even if the main unit was alright, it was a wreck.

After using the Power of Restoration to finish the repairs, I pressed the power button again. The familiar manufacturer logo appeared, and booting up began. Minerva looked curiously at the shining internals of the computer case.

“Don’t tell me you’re planning to dissect it again, Minerva?”

“If the child allows it, why not?”

“You didn’t have permission just a moment ago.”

“The Goddess of the Holy Kingdom wouldn’t let us come over without any safety measures, would she? She probably granted the ability to revert things back to their original state, or something else to the child.”

Tap tap, laughing lightly, Minerva touched the case, indicating that there was evidence supporting her claims. I had nothing to refute that.

Kaiquilia.

Leaving Minerva to her own world, I turned my attention to Kaiquilia, who seemed to have a different kind of scolding in mind.

Given that she was continuing her idle swan life, she was in prime condition.

“Have you ever heard of games?”
