Chapter 376

Epilogue: Planetary Gacha Plan – 2

“To make such a fool of yourself in front of your father, is that not a harsh punishment, Luce?”

“It’s self-inflicted, Viola. Who told you to do something so reckless? You must accept the consequences of your actions.”

Before I could say anything, Viola was swept away by the wave of her daughters who appeared here as if tearing through dimensions, kneeling against the wall with her disheveled hair untouched, hands up.

Considering the personalities of the eldest, this was a relatively mild punishment compared to what they had done. Eileen and Lorelia even argued that instead of just making them kneel and raise their hands, they should be hung upside down.

Especially Luce took the lead. She gracefully accepted the outcome of the final rock-paper-scissors and relinquished her position, but perhaps it was betrayal that was the reason she acted out so.

While the daughters surrounded Viola discussing her punishment, the wives shot me glances urging me to execute “the plan.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. We all agreed. Not that there was any need for agreement. The only question is who gets to go first….”

Rize subtly surveyed the gathering of daughters. We weren’t exactly whispering, and since they had heard about the plan already, everyone was quietly averting their eyes.

They didn’t seem to dislike it, but it was clear they weren’t openly supporting it either. Eileen, whom I had met in a vision, had mentioned such a plan with a smile.

Since it was in a future unrelated to my current timeline, I felt a bit weird asking Eclipse what had changed.

I happened to lock eyes with Angela, who was the closest to me. She seemed to struggle to avoid my gaze, but ultimately didn’t completely look away.

“Can you tell me why you might dislike it?”

“…Well, it’s not that I dislike it. It’s just that, uh, how should I put it? With the real deal right in front of me, dating a replica just feels….”

“A replica? You were planning to make someone just like me?”

“Isn’t that obvious? Is there even a guy on Earth who can match your toes?”

“…….”

As I’ve been thinking lately, it seemed that Eclipse could be the cause of this, considering if even half the effort put into creating women had been invested in men, we wouldn’t have such situations now.

Given the clear differences in attitude, it probably would remain impossible forever. I stared blankly at Eclipse. Perhaps sensing the weight of my gaze, Eclipse awkwardly turned her head away.

“Is there truly no one willing to participate, princesses?”

The daughters made expressions that suggested they were thinking ‘Awkward…’ and turned their faces away from me. This situation was turning a bit troublesome. After a moment’s deliberation, I decided to walk the path of self-sacrifice.

“Alright. If no one is going to step up, then it can’t be helped. I’ll just take the first three who volunteer with me—”

“Me! I’ll do it!”

“Um, Father, I can try too….”

“Ahem. I will participate as well.”

“Oh, if that’s the case, I’ll join too!”

“Do you have no sense of morality, Segretus? Maintain some decorum!”

“You’re talking about decorum, Eileen? Do you even have a conscience?”

“Father, may I also participate?”

“Please grant me this humble honor as well.”

“I want to do it! Dad! Huh?”

“I-I want to join too…….”

“Harna, didn’t you say you’d skip because it was bothersome? Why are you raising your hand?”

“Hehe, I could never find hanging out with Dad burdensome.”

“Oh, I was just about to raise my hand! Dad, that’s so unfair! How could you do that at a time like this!”

“……Kids. Shouldn’t you at least listen to what we’re doing together?”

Once I mentioned we could decorate a planet together, a flood of requests poured in, leading to yet another battle royale disguised as sparring, and ultimately, three contestants remained.

Regina, Angela, and Harna.

Eileen and Segretus wiped each other out from the get-go, Luce was the first to fall to concentrated fire, and Viola was disqualified for crossing the line.

Frigia nearly made it to the final three, but just as she was celebrating her victory with a kiss to me, Harna pounced and defeated her. Frigia was taken away, lost in a daze.

As a result, there were three left, or rather five. Regina brought Selene because she found her tastes similar to her own, and Angela brought Rene for the same reason.

Seeing the four of them, the other eliminated contestants eyed Harna, but she, with her usual gloomy demeanor completely absent, stubbornly held on and followed Eclipse by herself.

The final three winners, along with the two additional choices by virtue of having similar tastes, went off to be instructed by Eclipse on how to create planets. I then comforted the daughters who were dejected from being eliminated.

Additionally, I made a promise about the next steps.

‘It should be fine, right?’

Honestly, in the worst-case scenario, if I raised men on a planetary scale without finding a suitable one, I wasn’t certain what I would do.

If I really ended up marrying one daughter, and that daughter, without finding a man, insisted I marry her own daughter, it could create a horrifying loop.

I didn’t want to hear the dreadful question of why it was okay to marry my daughter but not marry my daughter and granddaughter at the same time.

“All set! Dad!”

I wondered how much time had passed when I saw Regina dashing toward us. Following her was Selene, hastily caught by the wrist. Next was Angela and Rene, and lastly, Harna.

“Is everything ready?”

“Yes! The foundation is all laid! Now we just have to fill it with people!”

“Got it, let’s go.”

I picked up Stella and Selene. Regina and Selene giggled as they teamed up to open a rift in space. We stepped inside, revealing a vast city before our eyes.

The overall view of the city seemed ordinary. It had a blend of kingdom and empire vibes.

One difference, though, was that the entire city was densely packed with what appeared to be sparring facilities. It felt like a third of the buildings were sparring grounds.

“Those are all sparring grounds, right, Regina?”

“Yes! Dad!”

“Why did you make so many?”

“To make sure our boyfriends are super strong!”

“……Huh?”

I froze at Regina’s cheerful declaration.

“To become our boyfriends, they have to be incredibly strong, right? So we wanted to gather everyone in one place and have them fight! We weed out until only the strongest remain!”

“…….”

That seems like a fundamentally flawed method of judgment.

“Ah, Father, it’s not like that. It’s more like a sparring session, like how we fought on the floor, kind of….”

Noting my mood, Selene tried to make excuses, but she failed to persuade me. It seemed Regina’s idea of fighting and Selene’s idea of fighting were fundamentally different.

I gently interrupted Regina, who was enthusiastically explaining her plan.

“How about we think of a different method?”

“What?!”

“……Yeah.”

Selene nodded her head as if she expected that, her face downcast, while Regina wore a genuinely surprised expression.

“……I’m sorry, Dad.”

“It’s alright. We have plenty of time. So don’t look so down, my princess?”

I set them down and patted their heads one by one. When I withdrew my hand, Harna naturally opened her arms and approached me.

“Now it’s my turn, Dad.”

I embraced her. I was merely doing it to catch her as Regina and Selene rushed toward me, but it seemed Harna interpreted it a bit differently.

Harna looked at me with a shadowy smile that resembled her mother’s.

“Hehe, you can expect to be really shocked.”

“Really?”

“Of course. Who’s my dad?”

As Harna said this, she opened a rift in space. A fissure formed from dark mana, and beyond it lay a surprisingly orderly city.

‘Doesn’t seem like there’s anything to be surprised about?’

For something that was supposed to shock me, it looked exceedingly ordinary. Just as I was wondering what I should be shocked by, an utterly unexpected color caught my eye.

With a hot pink twin-tail hairstyle and hot pink eyes, hot pink underboob, and hot pink tights.

“Hello! Delta! Nice to see you here again!”

It was Fetch.

“……What? Why is she here?”

“I told you, Dad. Hehe, you can look forward to it. I thought about how to grab Dad’s attention and this is the result.”

Wasn’t this planet meant to find boyfriends? The roles were getting excessively reversed. I looked down at my audacious daughter announcing that she was here to grab my attention.

“I’m sure you’re curious why I’m here, Delta!”

“Isn’t it obvious?”

“I came to tell you that! I didn’t expect to be caught like this, but… well, I guess it doesn’t matter. I couldn’t keep it a secret forever anyway.”

Fetch gave a smile that was entirely different from her usual charming demeanor. It felt familiar, like I had seen it before—no, I had absolutely seen it before. While thinking about where I had seen that smile, Fetch slowly opened and closed her eyes.

“Do you get it now?”

“That is….”

Her bright hot pink pupils had transformed into odd eyes of gold and silver. As far as I knew, only one person in this dimension had eye colors like that.

“Eclipse…?”

“To be exact, it was Eclipse. This body was used as an avatar to walk this human world, not as a goddess, but as a single creature.”

As I blankly processed the implications of Fetch from the game and Fetch from Eclipse’s world, Harna cheerfully whispered in my ear.

“What do you think, Dad? Surprised, right? I told you so!”
